New Omega Baptist Church is located in Racine, WI. New Omega is a welcoming, supportive, encouraging congregation of Jesus Christ, where the unadulterated word of God is preached, and all are encouraged to fulfill the will of God for their lives.

Rev. Fred Richmond planted New Omega in 1979 and has continued as its pastor for 40+ years. Pastor Richmond is committed to the cultivation of Christian growth within the congregation, preaching the acceptable year of the Lord to the unsaved, while providing support to the community efforts that strive to make available programs and services that enhance the quality of life for people living in Racine and other areas.

 

1. For safety on the roads, as winter continues to show itself in January.
2. For the chance to attend Aplington Baptist and Steamboat Rock Baptist this Sunday. 
3. For the chance to present the UMR ministry at the Steamboat Rock's annual meeting.
4. For several churches who are facing some extremely difficult times right now and for my chance to help them through this time.
5. For the chance to enjoy some time with my family as it was snowed out last weekend we try again this Saturday.

Thank you to each of you who pray for me. I can't express enough my gratitude for you. Here are a few things you can pray for this week:

• PRAISE: While the books are not officially closed, it is clear that we will end 2023 in the black. THANK YOU to each of you who gave extra, and contributed generously to allow this to happen.
• For the RLT as they have their quarterly meeting on Feb. 1. Please pray as we need a lay leader from the state of WI and a clergy member from IL.
• For Riverview as they have an official candidate coming on February 4
• For Riverview (West St. Paul, MN), Calvary (Parkersburg, IA), Oak Street (Burlington, IA),  Hunter's Ridge (Hutchinson, MN)  and 1st Baptist (Elgin, IA) who are all entering the pastoral search process.
• For our region to grow to become churches committed to loving one another for the sake of the world's redemption.
• For the NAB as they plan for Triennial next summer in St. Paul. Registration opens tomorrow (Nov. 1) @ www.nabtriennial.com
